The Autron Petitron (P1) is a small and straightforward French car, designed based on the Ibishu Covet for BeamNG. Known primarily in France for its ability to navigate narrow streets effortlessly, it was also an affordable option for many drivers. Released to consumers in mid-1989, the Petitron presented a great opportunity for novice drivers and those on a budget.

Compared to the Ibishu Covet:

• Most parts are interchangeable.
• Offers more options for engines, transmissions, and various components.
• Features more configurations.
• Enhanced textures have been reworked.
• Optional right-hand drive interior is available.
• More detailed tuning options.
• Based on the older version of the Ibishu Covet from 0.27.0.1 (the penultimate pre-remaster version).
• Available in coupe, van, and convertible body styles.

The Petitron has 17 engine options, with an additional 2 options if considering the 1.9-liter diesel variant that produces significant dark smoke.

In Version 1.6.0:

ADDED:

• 6 new caps (4 for 13 inches and 4 for 14 inches).
• 5 additional configurations.
• Details for the ’96 facelift.
• ’89 steel wheels.
• ’89 suspension struts.
• Basic details specific to ’89 model.
• 4WD transfer case, front differentials for 4WD, and badges.
• Differential lock.
• An additional slot on the roof plus a detail for the Ouveron.
• Skin support for Utiron (the UV scan skin template is included).
• ’89 fog lights for bumpers.
• Dynamic mirrors.

FIXED:

• Due to the remastering of the Ibishu 200BX (now simply BX), materials that used BX textures appeared as chrome. This has been corrected by reintroducing outdated materials.
• Most engine torque curves were inaccurate and have been adjusted for better accuracy and uniformity.
• Adjustments were made in the door clutch system.
• The rear door of the Offron, which previously stopped incorrectly, has been fixed.
• The offset for the triggers on the Offron and Utiron doors was incorrect and has been corrected.
• The Ouvron back panel lacked jbeams; this has been rectified.
• The unrealistic opening of the Couperon tailgate has been addressed.
• Roof rails on the Offron are now removable.
• Corrections were made in the all-wheel drive code.

CHANGED:

• 16 color options have been updated.
• All color names have been translated from English to French.
• Each configuration now features a different default color and parts.
• The behavior of the electric motor has been updated.
• The ’96 facelift has been redesigned.
• The Ouveron (open top) has been redesigned.
• The headlight models have been refreshed.
• The car model now showcases sharper edges, smoother lines, new or modified parts, and corrected shading in several areas.
• Models for existing steel discs have been updated.
• Conventional engines from the 2000s are now referred to as “Moderno.”
• Sports interiors from the 2000s have been introduced.

The sound of the horn has been modified from “Horn 9” to “Horn 117,” while the horns of Utiron and Inde now utilize “Horn 119.”

Additional adjustments include:

• Gear ratios for various transmissions have been tweaked.
• The sound of the reverse gear is now louder.
• Engine sounds have been improved, including sounds for electric motors and doors.

DELETED:

• 130 configurations.
• 10 color options.
• 1 hub cap.
• The RLM finish used in Ouveron.
• Side mirrors for Utiron.
• Side vents and plugs on the front bumper of the SportL and its modified variants.
• Monolith.
