Platforms and system requirements
GTA 6 launches only on PS5 and Xbox Series X|S. Boxed copies contain a download code, and Rockstar hasn't published an install size yet; estimates run from 150 to 200 GB.

You play as Jason Duval and Lucia Caminos in Leonida, Rockstar's take on Florida. Beyond Vice City, the state includes the Leonida Keys, Grassrivers, Port Gellhorn, Mount Kalaga and Ambrosia, and Rockstar says the map is bigger than any in the series so far.
Trailers and gameplay
The first trailer in December 2023 set a YouTube record with 90.4 million views in 24 hours. Trailer 2 followed in May 2025 and was captured on a standard PS5. The Extended Look gameplay reveal premiered on August 27, 2026.
GTA Online
Rockstar describes GTA 6 as a single-player experience at launch. A new online mode hasn't been confirmed for November 19, and the current GTA Online isn't shutting down.
PC version
Rockstar hasn't announced a PC version. GTA V reached PC about 19 months after consoles and Red Dead Redemption 2 about 13 months, so a later PC release is likely but undated.
