Description
Hello Everyone!
I recently started modding GTA V single-player and noticed a lack of variety in traffic. To enhance the experience, I decided to create a mod that introduces a diverse range of vehicles for players to enjoy while driving around.
The mod features a variety of vehicles that spawn in different locations throughout the city:
- Supercars and Sports Cars: These tend to spawn in the affluent areas of the city.
- Middle-Class Cars: These are predominantly found in the central part of the city.
- Beat-Up Cars: You can find these in the poorer neighborhoods.
- Off-Road Vehicles: Primarily spawning in the countryside.
Requirements for Installation
To install the mod, you will need:
- Open IV
- Script Hook V
- Simple Trainer
- GTA V (available via Steam or Epic Games)
Important Notes
- I have many exciting future plans for this mod!
- Future updates will turn this mod into an OIV package with even more content to be added.
- Please note that this mod will not work on consoles.
Installation Instructions
- Install Open IV: Once installed, create a
mods
folder within the Open IV directory. - Drag the Updates Folder: Move the updates folder into the
mods
folder. - Replace Files:
- Navigate to
mods > updates > updates.rpf > x64 > levels > gta5
. - Replace the
popgroups.ymt
file with the new downloaded version. - Make sure you’re in Edit Mode (activate using the button when you launch Open IV).
- Navigate to
To install the Simple Trainer and Script Hook V, download them from the recommended website. Then, paste the necessary files into the main directory of GTA V. If you need more detailed instructions, I recommend checking YouTube for tutorials.
Known Bugs
Currently, I have noticed that some cars may disappear when you get close to them. This issue typically occurs if you do not have Simple Trainer installed. As I am still learning, this is the only bug I am aware of at this time.
Customization Options
This mod is fully customizable! If you wish to delete a car you donβt want, simply double-click on the popgroups.ymt
file and delete the name of the vehicle. If you want to replace a car, just change the name of the existing vehicle to your desired choice.
How to Remove the Mod
To uninstall the mod, be sure to back up your original popgroups.ymt
file.
Follow these steps to revert:
- Navigate to
mods > updates > updates.rpf > x64 > levels > gta5
. - Replace the
popgroups.ymt
file with your original backup.
Thank you for your interest in my mod, and I hope you enjoy the added variety it brings to your GTA V experience!
