If youâre updating from 1.3.1 please delete the old WeaponsOnBack.dll and .ini
If you want your old position adjustments, copy-paste ONLY the number of each axis. DO NOT copy all!
Some wise men said âCarry your weapons⊠Properlyâ.
Some mods already did this kinda thing (e.g 7 Visible Weapons on Player, Stow That Weapon, Pickups).
But, Iâm aiming for simplicity, plug-n-play no hassle compared to other mods.
Customizations is limited, Iâm not aiming to replace those mods. This is for you who seeks comfort.
(This mod is definitely not compatible with those mod mentioned above)

Features:
Working weapon attachments and tints (addon guns and attachments will be auto-detected)
Small equip animation, grabbing the weapon on the back
4 slot: Front â Back (only one at a time as Main) + Left-Right Hip (Sidearm/Melee)
In-Game Menu Settings with LemonUI. Modes and others can be configured there
Insert cheat âVIWEâ to open the menu, for Gamepad click Reload and LookBehind key
NPCs Visible Weapons. Position and other settings in the menu
Adjustable Weapon Placement to reduce clipping on addon peds and weapon replacer
Requirement:
ScriptHookVDotNet 3.6.0, Must use the latest nightly version!.
Advised to use the latest you can find on GitHub
Also, you must have LemonUI
How To Install:
Put VisibleWeapons.dll and VisibleWeapons.ini into the â/scriptsâ folder, the usual for script mods, located in GTAV main folder.

Please read Bugs/Incompatibility below too.
NPC Weapon Position is adjusted by first switching the Gun Adjustment to NPC in the Visible Weapons Main Menu.
From that point, youâll only need to follow the standard âchange the value then Save Adjustmentâ just like the last video.
Use Trainer/Model Changer/something similar to change your player to the desired NPC for easy adjustments.
There is also NPC Exclusion. This is for excluding certain NPC types (e.g. you donât want Civilians to have visible weapons)
You can edit this in the config, just fill âNPCExclusion = â with one of these, separate it with â, â
example: NPCExclusion = CivMale, CivFemale
NPCMainGunMode (0-2) is for changing between off/front/back for the main weapon
NPCSidesMode (0-3) is for changing between off/R Hip/L Hip/Both for the hips (sidearms/melee)
Bugs/Incompatibility:
NPCs Visible Weapons DOES NOT work on bodyguards/followers (tested Simple Trainer and Private Army)
Will fix this but no promises.
PYGO/PullYourGunsOut will work ONLY if you disable Visible Weapons AnimatePutGunToBack in the .ini
Mod that add/manage NPC weapons will work, but there might be inaccuracies (weapon doesnât match), raise NPCDelayScan value by 1 till itâs accurate, too much will delay the holster/unholster. If, no weapon at all then itâs not compatible.
