Description
The AR-15 type rifle is a lightweight semiautomatic firearm, designed as a variant of the AR-15 assault rifle, which in turn is a smaller derivative of the AR-10. ArmaLite sold the patent and production rights to Colt’s Manufacturing Company in 1959.
