Description
The Yakolev Yak 52 is an old single prop Russian trainer aircraft still used today for multiple purposes including aerobatics.
The Yak 52 has a 400hp, 9 Cylinder Radial Engine bringing the aircraft to a cruise of around 100 knots and a recommended climb rate of 800fpm.
Currently Modelled In The Sim:
Retractable Gear
Flaps (0, 20, 40)
Standard Control Surfaces
All cockpit gauges function
Radio and Transponder (VATSIM ready)
Avionics and Battery Master switch
Pitot heat switch
Throttle, RPM, and Mixture levers
Magneto switch and starter button
Custom flight model
IMPORTANT NOTE: This is a work in progress in an Alpha state, there are issues that need to be addressed and will be updated in the future
List Of Known Issues To Be Fixed:
Mixture lever not affecting engine correctly
Magneto Switch not affecting engine correctly
Alternator switch will not turn off
G-meter gauge not perfect
Unable to hide control stick (use other quickview to see transponder while flying)
VR Mode cockpit position not always set correctly

Installation:
Simply place the folder “yakolev-aircraft-yak-52” into your community folder
Make sure there is not a second folder with the same name inside the first one. Your file Structure should be as follows:
Community > yakolev-aircraft-yak-52 > SimObjects

Bug fixes
Improved sounds
Eventually there will be a payware version of this aircraft with true to life sounds, real-world procedures and improved model quality, but there will always be a freeware version here.

- Copy the downloaded file to your Community folder like this: /Community/[MOD FOLDER]/[MOD FILES]
- Launch the game and enjoy your mod!
