Road Trip: Ford 999G

Road Trip: Ford 999G increases the fuel tank capacity of the four Ford vehicles included in the Road Trip: Ford DLC for American Truck Simulator. Each vehicle receives a displayed capacity of 999 US gallons, with the in-game tank size set to 3,785 liters.

Fuel consumption and driving performance remain unchanged. The larger tank simply lets you travel much farther between fuel stops, making it useful for extended road trips and cross-country driving.

The increased capacity applies only to these four Road Trip: Ford vehicles.

Original fuel consumption, with no changes to how quickly the vehicles use fuel.
Unchanged driving performance, including engine power, torque, and transmission.
Original appearance and audio, with no changes to models, textures, interiors, or sounds.
Fewer refueling stops during long-distance journeys.

Fuel Tank Settings

The mod sets each supported vehicle’s in-game fuel tank capacity to 3,785 liters using tank_size: 3785. The displayed capacity is 999 gal.

This is a convenience mod for players who want to spend more time driving between fuel stops. The oversized tank is a gameplay choice rather than a realistic fuel capacity.

Mod Scope

Only the fuel tank settings in the four supported vehicle chassis definitions are modified. No vehicle models, textures, sounds, or other DLC assets are included or replaced.

The mod targets the supported Ford vehicles only. Other ATS trucks and unrelated vehicles are outside its scope.
