This background map is meant to be used for ProjectJapan map mod. It displays the background map of Euro Truck Simulator 2 – ProjectJapan in Google Maps Satellite view. Melphiz made this map, I fixed it since the update stopped since 2022.

What is new: now compatible to gps reworked mods
The original project japan does not support gps mods, if you want to use gps mods, you need to use this mod.

Load Order:

The background aligns with the original background, thus out of border cities stay out of border, as the graphics projection has not been changed.

How to install this mod (Full installation guide)

Download and extract the mod. File extension should be .scs (ModsHost download guide).
Find the mods folder on your computer
- Windows – /Documents/Euro Truck Simulator 2/mod
Copy the downloaded file to your Mods folder
Launch the game and enjoy your mod!
