Description

Ever since 1.54, (yes, about 7 versions ago) SCS decided to limit flatbed with container pins, but for some reason they left the old flatbed_cont data unused. To put this simply, flatbed with container pins used to use body_type: flatbed_cont before SCS changed it to body_type: container.

This mod aims to return flatbed cargoes into flatbed with container pins body.
I was livid that it has been over a year since this backwards update was made. I also made this mod while still wishing for SCS to fix this because i used to use this trailer a lot in TruckersMP, but i can’t anymore because i’m stuck with just containers.

Fixed Issues

Flatbed cargoes does not show lashing like straps or chains as the model itself does not have any mounts for the lashes
Completely disables the current container only body type from being able to show cargoes, you need to choose “Flatbed With Container Pins Fix” at the shop
Some flatbed cargoes show up differently compared to when using actual flatbeds i.e hay bales show one less model compared to using flatbed wood or flatbed steel
Large container cargo didn’t show lashing straps
Mobile air compressor will also overlap, but only when using the shorter body
Short variant of large tubes cargo will show it overlap with one another

How to install this mod (Full installation guide)

Download and extract the mod. File extension should be .scs (ModsHost download guide).
Find the mods folder on your computer
- Windows – /Documents/Euro Truck Simulator 2/mod
Copy the downloaded file to your Mods folder
