Download F 35B Lightning II ADD on GTA 5 Aircraft Mod

The F-35B has been one of my first mods for GTA V, released almost 10 years ago. Naturally, it’s a bit dated, and I have really lost count of how many times people requested a new or better version.

This model has been floating around for over 2 years on my hard drive, but only as a replace mod for the Raiju, allowing it to be fully animated with all VTOL hatches. Since I wasn’t really content with it only being a replace mod, it never got released.

However, due to popular demand, there is now an add-on version that functions similarly to the original F-35B mod: the majority of VTOL hatches are tied to the landing gear mechanism.

It uses an entirely new model (and textures) for a much better look. Additionally, you have different tuning options to allow for various weapon setups (including external JDAMs, Spear 3, Gunpod, and Aim-9X missiles). It includes custom weapon settings for all weapons.

The weapon hatches can be opened and include 2 JDAMs and 2 AIM-120s. A vehFuncs file is included for single-player. You can press LCTRL+B to open them. Alternatively, the outer ones are opened by opening the bomb hatches, and the inner ones are opened by opening the rear doors.

The mod only includes one single USMC livery but can technically have more if you want to add any.

Before you use this, make sure to use the CWeaponInfoBlob Limit Adjuster by alexguirre to prevent the game from crashing during loading.
