This mod restores a beta version of the GTA V minimap, inspired by early builds of the game. It features a simpler and cleaner design, with visual elements that differ slightly from the final version, offering a more authentic “in-development” feel.

The minimap includes changes in scale, icons, and overall style, making it perfect for players looking for a different aesthetic or a more old-school vibe in Los Santos.

Installation:
Open OpenIV.

Enable Edit Mode.
Navigate To The Following Path:
gtav/mods/update/update.rpf/x64/patch/data/cdimages/scaleform_minimap.rpf
Replace the existing files with the ones from the mod.
Save changes and launch the game.

Requirements:

OpenIV installed
“mods” folder properly set up

Notes:
It is recommended to make a backup before installing any mod.
