Download Better Hbao enhanced Styled Ambient Occlusion | OIV V2.5 GTA 5 Mod

GTA 5 always had a terrible AO. The default game uses SSAO, which is already 12 years old by now. This mod tries to mimic HBAO, but it’s more like the one in the Enhanced Edition of Grand Theft Auto.

PLEASE NOTE: The files do not provide an overhaul to the in-game SSAO in GTA V Legacy. They only mimic the capabilities of HBAO.

HBAO is a great alternative to SSAO. I am so glad that Rockstar added it in the Enhanced Edition of GTA 5. These files try to mimic the HBAO found in the Enhanced Edition. Although the differences might not provide an overhaul to the in-game SSAO, the differences are still visible.
The more significant changes are visible on the faces of the characters (especially during cut scenes).

Pre-Requirements: OPEN IV

Installation:

1. Simply drag and drop the OIV inside OPEN IV
2. OR
3. Select “Tools” in OPEN IV
4. Select Package Installer and choose the provided OIV

Please Note:
These files are only compatible with the default game and vanilla mods. Any other graphics mods are not compatible with these files.
