Download LOS Santos Street Gangs Retextures plus Helmet FIX GTA 5 Player Mod

Street Gangs in Los Santos simply don’t look much like gangs.
So I fixed the gangs to be lore friendly/vanilla but more realistic and accurate to their IRL counterparts.
Also includes my “Los Santos Street Gangs Helmet Fix” mod.

Heres Whats Changed:

Before, gangs had a mix of Black and White bandanas, Aztecas and Marabunta Grande had some shared textures and same colors (including bandanas oddly), now they don’t.
Only kept a black bandana variant for the Female Vagos because I thought the black with yellow accents looked dope when they spawn wearing all black.
I retextured/recolored some of the shoes, hats, flannels, and shirts.
Darkened almost all sunglasses, and made the cholo shades have dark lenses like IRL Locs shades.
I added white socks to all gang members that wear shorts.
All gangs have consistent bandana colors.
Retextured gang members sport armbands to be bandanas.
Rextextured all pants to add bandana/flag textures in all back pockets.
Each gang has a side they rep their flags on.

Note: I based the sides the gangs rep mostly on what the sides the models wear their armbands on.
I know Families is based on Crips and should be on the left but they wear armbands in game on the right.
So Families and Ballas rep the opposite side of the IRL Crips/Bloods they’re based on.
Example:
Families is Right but Crips is Left, Ballas Left but Bloods is Right.
Marabunta Grande doesn’t have a side and just rock blue flags like MS-13’s. (Salva models wear wrist bandanas on both left and right depending on model)

Gang Flag Sides And Colors:

Left Side:
Ballas: Purple
Vagos: Yellow
Marabunta Grande/Salva 01: Blue
Marabunta Grande/Salva 02: Blue

Install Instructions:
DLC Install:
Open the “Los Santos Street Gangs Retextures Plus Fix 1.0” zip.
Drag the “ped_setup_gangs” folder into C:/Program Files (x86)/Steam/steamapps/common/Grand Theft Auto V/mods/update/x64/dlcpacks
Open up OpenIV.
Click on edit mode and go to “C:/Program Files (x86)/Steam/steamapps/common/Grand Theft Auto V/mods/update/update.rpf/common/data”
Find “dlclist.xml” and edit it (You can right click and click edit, or click on it and Ctrl+Enter to edit it).
Copy and paste “dlcpacks:/ped_setup_gangs/” into your “dlclist.xml”
Click save or press “Enter”.
Done.

I already defragged the dlc, so you don’t have to.

Note For New Modders:
Never replace vanilla files. Make sure you’re only putting mods into your “mods” folder.
