Description
Play Story Mode as John Fister, the bare-fisted brawler from Fister: punches that launch people and cars, parries that send bullets back, rocket punches, dive bombs, air kicks, landing slides and the railing dash. Press F9 to switch him on and off at any time.
Features
- John’s blocky body, “Yeehaw” hat and award badge with Fister’s cel shading and outlines, seen from a third-person camera that pulls in near walls and ceilings (John turns see-through when the camera is close).
- Fister’s own movement and move set, run by a port of Fister’s simulation: walk, charged sprint, landing slides, tap and charged punches, critical fist, parry and parry jump, wall parries, rocket punch, uppercut, dive bomb, ground-punch hop, air kick with lock-on and aim line, railing dash, grab, throw and piledriver.
- Everything hits GTA’s world: launched people ragdoll, crash into walls and cars, and get back up if they survive. Full punches launch cars. Cars that hit John throw him (or get thrown back if he parries). Parries work against fists and gunfire.
- John takes damage through the game’s own health, dies and respawns normally, and the police react to assaults as usual.
- Fister’s effects (impact bursts, rings, cracks, shockwaves, fire trails) and sounds.
- In vehicles the game drives as normal and John sits in the seat.
- Settings (camera, launch strength, damage, jump heights, volume) in Documents/FisterV/FisterV.ini. A log in Documents/FisterV/fister.log helps with bug reports.

Requirements
GTA V Legacy (tested on 1.0.3889.0). Enhanced is not supported.
Script Hook V and its ASI loader (not included: its licence forbids redistribution).
Installation
Download Script Hook V from dev-c.com and copy ScriptHookV.dll and dinput8.dll from its bin folder into the ScriptHookV folder of this download.
Run install.ps1 (right-click, Run with PowerShell). It backs up your saves, checks your game version, installs everything and verifies every file.
Start the game and choose Story Mode, then press F9.
Manual install: copy ScriptHookV.dll, dinput8.dll, FisterV.asi and the FisterV folder (sounds) into your GTA V folder.
Story Mode only. Run uninstall.ps1 before playing GTA Online. The installer adds args.txt (-nobattleye -noBE) so Script Hook V can run, which keeps GTA Online unavailable while the mod is installed. uninstall.ps1 removes everything and puts the game folder back as it was.
Known issues
Missions with scripted cameras or cutscenes hand control back to the game, John may be drawn over your character until they end.
John is drawn with GTA’s debug polygons, so he has a blob shadow instead of a real one and shows through car glass.
His hat can poke through the roof of small cars (raise SeatDrop in the ini).
