Description

The Last Survivors is an immersive, total survival scripting mod for GTA V that plunges players into a brutal, post-apocalyptic zombie outbreak across San Andreas. Take on the role of a lone survivor navigating a decaying world where cities have collapsed, power grids have failed, and hordes of the undead roam the streets. Every resource you find, decision you make, and shot you fire directly dictates your survival.

In this first Beta 1.0.0 release, players will experience the core foundational systems of the mod: a complete atmospheric world overhaul, dynamic zombie behaviors and threat tiers, an advanced grid-based inventory and carry-weight management system, real-time looting and container stashing, extensive item crafting, vehicle engine and tire repair mechanics, tactical weapon attachments, and sound-based distraction systems.

Beta 1.0.0 (First Beta Release)
Apocalyptic World Overhaul: Immersive blackout mode, gridlocked and damaged vehicles, customized survivor character model, and safe camp starting base.
Dynamic Zombie & Animal Ecosystem: Multiple infected threat tiers including Walkers, Joggers, aggressive sprinting Runners, hungry feral dog packs, and huntable wildlife (deer).
Noise & Distraction Dynamics: Infected respond to sound stimuli such as unsuppressed gunfire, vehicle horns, explosions, thrown baseballs, and emergency flares.
Grid-Based Inventory System: Full slot-based inventory featuring carry weight limits, dedicated Equipment slots (Primary Weapon, Sidearm, Melee, Throwable), Pockets, and Backpack storage.
Looting & Scavenging System: Real-time looting of downed zombies, harvested wildlife, and world supply crates (Military, Police, Medical, Ammunition, Construction).
Vehicle Scavenging & Trunk Stashing: Search abandoned vehicle trunks with dynamic slot capacities based on vehicle class (Sedans, SUVs, Vans, Commercial Trucks), and stash items directly into trunks.
Vehicle Maintenance & Repair: Fix broken vehicle engines at the bonnet using Vehicle Repair Kits, and replace blown-out tires using Spare Tires with realistic animations and tool requirements.
In-Depth Crafting System: Craft essential survival items including weapons, ammo types, medical supplies (Bandages, First Aid Kits), suppressors, workbenches, campfires, tents, and defensive barricades (walls, fences, gates).
Weapon Attachments & Stealth: Attach and detach suppressors in real-time onto compatible firearms for silent stealth eliminations.
Melee Durability & Ammo Management: Melee weapons wear down with use; unequipped weapons can be unloaded directly into inventory ammo reserves.
Downed & Camp Recovery System: Custom injury knockdown system that smoothly fades out and recovers the player back at camp, preventing broken default GTA Wasted restart loops.
In-Game Configuration Menu: Toggle blackout, stealth mode, and custom zombie type spawns on the fly.

How to Use & Controls

Press F12 to open the Main Menu (Start Apocalypse, configure Blackout, Stealth Mode, and Zombie types).
Press I to toggle the Inventory Menu.
Press K to toggle the Crafting Menu.
Press E (Context Interaction key) near dead peds, vehicle trunks, burst tires, or open vehicle bonnets to loot or repair.
Press T:

While aiming/holding a compatible firearm: Attach or detach Suppressor.
While inside Inventory: Select an item slot to move / swap positions.
While inside Looting Menu: Open Stash mode to transfer items between your inventory and the container.

Press Enter to use consumables, equip weapons, confirm item swaps, or craft selected recipes.
Press F in the Looting Menu to take 1 item / drop 1 item in inventory.
Press Space in the Looting Menu to take all items / discard entire stack in inventory.
Press R while selecting a weapon to unload its loaded ammunition into your inventory.
Press Backspace or ESC to close any open menu.

Installation Guide
1. Download and install ScriptHookV and ScriptHookVDotNet3 into your main GTA V root folder.
2. Extract LastSurvivors2.dll and the LastSurvivors-2 folder into your Grand Theft Auto V/scripts/ directory.
3. Start the game, load into Story Mode, and press F12 to open the menu and start the apocalypse!
