Turn GTA V’s story mode into a looter-shooter.

Every enemy in Los Santos now has a level and a health bar, and can drop weapons and armor of different rarities. Michael, Franklin and Trevor each level up, collect gear and build a loadout, all while playing the story you already know. LSV is designed to feel like part of GTA rather than bolted on top: weapons unlock as the story does, enemies get tougher as you progress, and the map tells you how strong you should be before each mission.

LOOT

Weapons and armor vests in six rarities: Common, Uncommon, Rare, Epic, Legendary and Ultra
Item levels, perks and talents, with faction brands and gear-set bonuses
Better rolls equip themselves; weaker ones are broken down for parts and XP
A damage stat on every weapon, plus an inspect screen to look at your gun up close
Loot beams, a pickup card showing how a drop compares to what you’re using, and an optional filter for weaker drops

PROGRESSION

Player levels with stat points (Firepower, Vitality, Armor, Scavenging) and weapon mastery
Each character levels separately, and story missions share XP with the other two
New weapon types join the loot pool as the story unlocks them
Enemy levels rise with your story milestones, and every mission shows a recommended level on the map
Unsecured XP: what you earn in the field only counts once you bank it at a safehouse with no wanted stars. Die or get busted and it’s gone. Finishing a mission banks it too.

THINGS TO DO

Strongholds: survival-style wave fights ending in a Juggernaut, with an Ultra on the line
Outposts: take gang turf, hold it against counterattacks, and earn parts and a new safehouse
Bounties: Maude sends you after bail skips. Bring them in alive for a bigger payout.
Most Wanted runs: at five stars, push your luck for permanent perks and Ultra weapons. Your haul is only yours once you escape and get it home.
Manhunts and hit squads: anger a faction and they will come looking for you
Daily and legendary operations, business stakes, and an LSV stand at Ammu-Nation

COMBAT FEEL

Per-weapon reticles plus alternative crosshair themes and a custom crosshair editor
Recoil that moves your aim without camera shake

Hit markers, damage numbers, a custom sound pack, armor-break feedback and kill medals
Perfect reloads, special ammo, and gadget skills (Pulse, Seeker and a Gunner backup)
A score pop-up next to the crosshair and a clean event feed

INTERFACE AND ACCESSIBILITY

11 color themes and 7 interface styles, all set up through a first-launch wizard
Full in-game settings menu (F11), so you never need to edit a file
Controller support throughout
Color-blind rarity palettes, adjustable text size, reduced motion, and quieter notifications
One-click playstyle presets: Story-first, Full looter-shooter, and Hardcore

INSTALLATION

Install Script Hook V and Script Hook V .NET.
Copy the “scripts” folder from the download into your GTA V folder and merge it.
Load story mode. A short setup wizard runs the first time.

To update, overwrite the files. Your progress and settings are kept.

BETA NOTES
This is an early beta, so expect rough edges and balance changes. If something breaks, please include your LooterShooterV.log and ScriptHookVDotNet.log (both in your GTA V folder) and say what you were doing at the time.

Almost every system can be turned off or tuned in F11. If you just want the story with better gunplay, try the Story-first preset.
