Create Your Own Investment Company

Michael Franklin and Trevor can each create and operate their own independent investment company
During registration the player can enter a custom company name pay the non refundable registration fee receive a permanent company licence and begin building a personal investment empire
Each protagonist has separate company data
Michael Franklin and Trevor can have different company names balances employees investments reputation reports statistics and financial histories
When the player changes protagonist the mod saves the current company and loads the correct company profile for the newly selected character
Company funds employees investments and progress are not shared between protagonists

Company Registration

Before using the complete investment system the player must register a company
The registration process includes a custom company name company owner name automatically generated licence number and non refundable registration payment
After registration the player receives access to the complete LS Investor management menu
The company licence remains permanently connected to that protagonist profile

Company Cash

Company Cash is the main operating balance of the investment company

The player can deposit money from normal GTA cash into Company Cash

Company Profit

Investment profit is stored separately from Company Cash
When an investment completes the original capital returns to Company Cash
The earned profit is added to Company Profit

Owner Reserve

The player can review the remaining time of every active investment through the menu
When the investment reaches its completion time the result is calculated and processed automatically

The promised return is not guaranteed
Possible outcomes include strong profit normal profit reduced profit break even and financial loss
A strong result returns the original capital and a large amount of profit
A reduced result returns the original capital with less profit than originally expected

Friday Company Settlement

The company processes a complete weekly financial settlement every Friday at the configured GTA game time
The settlement reads the remaining Company Profit calculates employee compensation deducts staff payments calculates company tax deducts tax transfers the final owner payment stores overflow inside Owner Reserve creates a settlement report and saves the company profile
The player can manually withdraw profit before the weekly settlement
Only the amount remaining inside Company Profit is processed during the settlement

Simple Installation

Download and install Script Hook V
Download and install ScriptHookVDotNet 3
Download and install LemonUI for ScriptHookVDotNet 3
Open the main GTA V installation folder
Create a folder named scripts if it does not already exist
Open the downloaded LS Investor package
Copy LS Investor.dll into the scripts folder
Copy LSInvestment.ini into the scripts folder
Copy the LS Investor data folder into the scripts folder if the package contains one
Start GTA V
Enter Story Mode
Load Michael Franklin or Trevor
Press F11 to open LS Investor
Register your investment company and begin playing

Correct File Placement

The LS Investor folder may contain save data reports backups logs and other required files
Do not place the DLL or configuration file inside the main GTA V folder
Place the DLL and configuration file inside the scripts folder

Updating From an Older Version

Close GTA V before updating
Open the GTA V scripts folder
Remove the older LS Investor DLL file
Copy the new LS Investor DLL file into the scripts folder
Replace the configuration file only when the new version requires updated settings
Keep the existing LS Investor save folder unless the update instructions specifically tell you to remove it
Do not install two different LS Investor DLL files at the same time
Duplicate DLL files can cause repeated menus duplicated transactions repeated payments or script errors

Configuration

Open LSInvestment.ini using Notepad or another normal text editor
The configuration file allows the player to change supported settings such as menu key deposit key save key registration fee investment limits notifications autosave settings settlement time and conference settings
Close GTA V before editing the configuration file
Save the configuration file after making changes
Do not rename the DLL or configuration file unless the mod instructions specifically allow it

Troubleshooting

If the F11 menu does not open make sure Script Hook V ScriptHookVDotNet 3 and LemonUI are installed correctly
Make sure LemonUI is the ScriptHookVDotNet 3 version
Make sure LS Investor.dll and LSInvestment.ini are inside the scripts folder
Make sure an older duplicate LS Investor DLL is not installed
Restart GTA V after changing mod files
Check the ScriptHookVDotNet log file inside the GTA V folder when the mod does not load
Script Hook V may require an update after a major GTA V game update
Save files should not normally be deleted when reinstalling or updating the DLL
