Posted Up: A drug-dealing and gang mod for GTA V, You pick the corner, not the customer.

You run with the Chamberlain Gangster Families. Get hold of product, take it home and cut it, stand somewhere busy and let the trade come to you — and try to be gone before the police or somebody else’s people decide you’ve been there long enough.

Everything runs off a phone that replaces the in-game one.

The loop. Gerald fronts you the first two packages for nothing, so you don’t need money to start. Weight bought by the brick won’t sell to anybody until it’s cut at the sink in Denise’s kitchen — how hard you step on it is the only real decision in the mod. Then you pick a spot, not a customer. A busy pavement sells fast and gets you noticed fast. Heat sticks to the ground, not to you, so a different block is a clean start and the one you burned is still burned when you come back.

What’s in it. Nine gangs with named leaders, their own turf and their own standing with you. Twelve street plugs you have to find before they’re on your map. Six jobs from Lamar, who rides out with you and doesn’t shut up. A police system that isn’t a wanted level — patrols work the blocks whether or not anybody’s after you, and getting searched holding product costs you the product. A social feed of 173 people that reacts to what you actually do. Seven products, eleven cars from Hao, guns from Stretch, bodyguards, turf war, dead drops, a stash house, and a spray can with thirteen colours.

And they talk. 152 recorded lines — Gerald, Lamar, Tao Cheng, Hao and Stretch say what the screen says.

Requirements
Script Hook V
ScriptHookVDotNet 3 (3.6 or newer for Enhanced)
.NET Framework 4.8 (Windows 10 and 11 already have it)
Works on both GTA V Legacy and Enhanced, same DLL. Single player only — do not take this near GTA Online.

Install
1. Unblock the zip before extracting. Right-click it → Properties → tick Unblock → OK. Windows marks downloaded files and ScriptHookVDotNet silently refuses to load a marked DLL — the mod just isn’t there, with nothing in any log to explain it. This is the single most common reason it “doesn’t work”.

2. Drag the scripts folder into your GTA V folder — the one with GTA5.exe in it, normally C:/Program Files (x86)/Steam/steamapps/common/Grand Theft Auto V. Say yes to merging.

You should end up with scripts/Hoodrich.dll, scripts/Hoodrich.ini and the scripts/Hoodrich/ folder beside them. That’s the whole install — no game files are modified.

Two downloads: the full package includes ScriptHookVDotNet so you only need Script Hook V. The mod-only package is for anyone already running .NET script mods.

Upgrading? Drop it over the top, old saves load — but copy scripts/Hoodrich/ as well as the DLL. Keeping an old data folder is the most common way to end up with a mod that half works.

Getting started
Gerald is the only marker on your map. Go see him at the flats on Grove — he puts the first lot of product in your hand for free. Then open the phone, go to Dealing, and post up somewhere with people on it.

The one thing nobody works out on their own: weight you buy will not sell until it’s been cut and bagged at the sink in Denise’s kitchen. Anything you’re given is already bagged.

Controls: phone button opens everything. Arrows move, Enter chooses, Backspace goes back. Right on the d-pad talks to people. Every key is rebindable in Hoodrich.ini.

Uninstall
Delete those three things. Nothing else to undo.
