A refreshing GTA 6-inspired feature for GTA 5! This mod automatically hides the minimap during free roam and supports both GTA V Legacy & Enhanced on PC.

WHAT IT DOES

Hides the mini-map/radar during normal free roaming.

The Radar Automatically Becomes Visible When:

You enter any vehicle.
You receive a wanted level.
You equip/hold a weapon.
A script-based/In-game mission is active.
A random event is active.

Changelog:
RadarVI V1.1:

Press the X button on the keyboard, the minimap appears for a few seconds.
If the player is falling or parachuting, the minimap appears temporarily.
If the player is underwater, the minimap appears temporarily.
When the player starts sprinting, the minimap appears so they can monitor their stamina.
When the player takes damage and loses health, the minimap appears for a few seconds.
If an NPC hits the player and their health decreases, the minimap appears for a few seconds.
The damage detection also works for other types of damages.
