GTA 5 Script Mod: Realistic Vehicle Damage (Featured)
GTA 5 Script Mod: Realistic Vehicle Damage

Realistic Vehicle Damage overhauls GTA V’s forgiving vehicle mechanics and replaces them with a deep, systemic damage and fuel simulation. Vehicles are no longer indestructible tanks. High-speed driving is risky, crashes have consequences, and poor fuel planning can leave you stranded on the side of the road. The goal of Realistic Vehicle Damage is simple: Crashing at 200 mph should not be survivable. (for the car at least)

This mod is primarily designed for people who want driving to feel immersive, and genuinely dangerous at higher speeds. However, everything is customizable, so whether you want light immersion or brutal realism, the mod can be adapted to your playstyle.

Vehicle Damage System:
Accelerated Engine Degradation: Engines wear down faster and respond realistically to sustained abuse, overheating, and impacts.
Advanced Crash Detection: Damage calculations take multiple factors into account, including:
Crash severity
Impact direction
Engine position
Vehicle type
Engine Position Awareness:
Front-engine vehicles are more prone to engine damage in frontal collisions
Rear-engine supercars are more likely to suffer frame and fuel tank damage from frontal impacts
Crash features: Larger crashes increase the likelihood of failures such as:
Radiator damage
Engine stalling
Fuel tank puncture
Wheel breaking off

Vehicle Systems Simulation:
Engine Temperature: Damaged cooling systems can cause overheating, performance loss, and eventual engine failure.
Frame Condition: Structural damage matters. Even if the engine is healthy, a badly damaged frame can lead to:
Fuel tank leaking
Wheel detachment
Seatbelt System: Wearing a seatbelt prevents flying through the windshield during high-speed crashes.
Manual Engine Recovery: After a major crash, if durability is low enough, the car can only be revived by using an engine repair kit (or you can also use menyoo i guess).

Manual Repair & Recovery:
Repair Command: After stalling, press T to open a textbox and type repair to attempt to reanimate the engine.
The command only works up to a certain damage threshold. Severe failures require a repair kit.

Repair Kits:
Repair kits can be purchased at repair shops across the map and are required to fix serious damage.

Engine Repair Kit: Revives severely damaged engines when the repair command no longer works.
Cooling System Repair Kit: Repairs radiator damage and stops overheating.
Fuel Tank Repair Kit: Fixes leaking fuel tanks.
Tyre Repair Kit: Repairs punctured or burst tyres.

Fuel System:
Vehicle Fuel Consumption: Every vehicle now consumes fuel based on usage.
Refueling Stations: Refuel at any of 22 gas stations across San Andreas.
Portable Fuel: Gas canisters can be purchased at repair shops and used anywhere.

Indicators & Controls:
Vehicle Indicators: Functional turn signals bound to arrow keys (toggleable).
Engine Toggle: Manually start and stop the engine. This is useful when your vehicle is overheating and you want it to cool off.

Customization & Settings:
Nearly every aspect of the mod is configurable through an in-game settings menu, including:

Damage multipliers
Crash detection thresholds
Radiator failure chances
Stall chances
Fuel consumption rates
GUI elements
