A customizable and feature packed GTA V Singleplayer and Story Mode ASI menu built for Script Hook V.

Sodium Engine includes player weapon vehicle teleport world and visual features combined with a customizable interface RGB effects ESP customization controller support and a flexible header and theme system.

Available for GTA V Legacy and GTA V Enhanced.

Installation

Install Script Hook V compatible with your GTA V version.

Make sure the required Script Hook V files are installed in your GTA V main directory.

Copy the correct Sodium Engine ASI for your game version into the GTA V main directory.

or

SodiumEngineEnhanced.asi

Start GTA V and enter Story Mode.

Always use the Sodium Engine build intended for your installed GTA V edition.

Do not mix Legacy and Enhanced versions.

Custom Header Themes

Sodium Engine includes a built in header that is compiled directly into the ASI.

This means the menu can always start with its standard Sodium Engine design without requiring external image files.

You can also install your own header images.

Custom themes are stored inside the Sodium Engine Themes folder in your Windows Documents folder.

The Themes directory is automatically created when required.

After adding an image open the Sodium Engine theme settings and select the desired header.

Custom themes stored in Documents can be added removed or replaced without recompiling the ASI.

Compiled Themes

Sodium Engine also supports themes that are permanently compiled into the ASI.

When building Sodium Engine from source place the desired images inside the compiled themes folder.

Then compile Sodium Engine normally.

Images placed in the compiled themes folder before compilation are embedded into the resulting ASI and become available as built in themes.

Compiled Themes are permanently embedded into the ASI and always available.

Documents Themes are external themes that can be added removed or changed without recompiling.

GUI and RGB Customization

Sodium Engine interface can be customized directly from the menu.

The standard visual style uses a Magenta and Black Sodium Engine theme but the primary GUI color can be changed.

The scrollbar can either follow the current GUI theme or use its own independent color.

This allows the complete menu interface to smoothly animate together when RGB mode is enabled.

Sodium Engine includes customizable visual and ESP options.

The default visual color is Magenta matching the Sodium Engine interface.

Paint Gun

The Weapons section includes a customizable Paint Gun.

The Paint Gun allows supported entities to be painted using the selected color.

Paint Gun color can be changed directly from the menu.

This provides a quick way to experiment with different colors while playing Story Mode.

Sodium Engine includes Story Mode support for compatible DLC vehicles.

Interface Preferences

Configuration data is stored in the Windows Local AppData directory rather than relying on write access to the GTA V installation folder.

Custom theme images are stored separately inside the Sodium Engine Themes folder in Windows Documents.

This prevents problems when GTA V is installed inside a protected or write restricted directory.

Sodium Engine is available in two separate editions.

Sodium Engine Legacy

For GTA V Legacy.

Sodium Engine Enhanced

For GTA V Enhanced.

Always use the correct Sodium Engine version for your installed GTA V edition.

Do not mix Legacy and Enhanced ASI files.

Important

Sodium Engine is designed for GTA V Singleplayer and Story Mode only.

It is not intended for GTA Online.

Network session safety checks are used for functionality that should only operate in Story Mode.

Some functions DLC vehicles and game natives may depend on your current GTA V build and the installed Script Hook V version.

Always make sure your Script Hook V installation is compatible with your current GTA V version.
