Description

Speed Camera Highway adds working speed cameras to several highway stretches around Los Santos and Blaine County. Drive through a camera trigger zone over the posted limit and you’ll receive a ticket showing your license plate, recorded speed, speed limit, and the in-game time of the offense.

Keep racking up violations and the consequences escalate: fines increase, wanted stars climb, and if the game’s wanted system is blocked or immediately reset (for example, by a “No Wanted” trainer), the script automatically falls back to its own police and FBI response.

Main Features

8 Highway Camera Locations
Each location uses a real CCTV prop placed on the road, with poles used where applicable
Location 8 uses CCTV cameras mounted without separate poles
Some locations use multiple cameras and separate trigger lines for different road sections or lanes
Per-location speed limits, fully configurable
60-second cooldown per trigger line to prevent repeated tickets while remaining in the same camera zone

Escalating Consequences
Fine increases with each violation and is deducted directly from the active character’s cash
Wanted level increases with repeated offenses, up to 5 stars
Automatically detects when the wanted level is blocked or reset and falls back to manually spawned police and FBI units
Manual enforcement scales with the current wanted level and tops up existing nearby units instead of unnecessarily replacing them
FBI response vehicles use SWAT passengers on the side seats with weapons drawn
Enforcement units spawn approximately 100-150 meters away from the player and attempt to spawn outside the player’s camera view
Spawned units are spread apart to avoid spawning directly on top of each other
Enforcement units are automatically cleaned up when they are far enough from the player or when their safety-net lifetime expires

10 Police Stations
Visit a police station to clear your wanted level and violation record
Police station map blips and ground markers only appear while you have an active violation, keeping the map clean otherwise

HUD Add-ons
Small digital in-game clock in the top-left corner
Speedometer in the bottom-right corner, shown only while driving
Clock and speedometer can be toggled independently

Measurement Units
Automatically follows your in-game Measurement System setting
Can also be forced to MPH or KMPH through the configuration file

Speed limits in the configuration are entered using MPH as the baseline and are automatically converted when KMPH is selected.

Notes
Story Mode only
Fines are deducted from whichever character (Michael, Franklin, or Trevor) you are currently playing
Violation count persists between game sessions and automatically resets when the in-game date changes
Speed, speed limit, license plate, and offense time shown by the camera notification are based on the current in-game event
Fully configurable through the INI file
Manual police/FBI response is a fallback, not a replacement. If the native GTA wanted system works normally, the script uses it instead
If native wanted levels are disabled in the configuration, the manual police/FBI response is used directly
