A complete dual-vehicle open-wheel motorsport pack bringing authentic grassroots single-seater racing to Los Santos under the lore-friendly Vapid banner.

This pack pays homage to the legendary real-world Formula Vee and Formula Super Vee racing series, offering two distinct eras of lightweight, analog motorsport.

Both vehicles were built from the ground up using the Progen PR4 as a base chassis, receiving comprehensive 3D remodels, proportional scaling, custom fabricated engine components, dedicated audio, and authentic open-wheel physics.

Chassis & Engineering: PR4 vs. The Dee Platform

Modern Formula 1 cars are massive, high-downforce machines. To transform the modern Progen PR4 into authentic, nimble vintage racers, the entire chassis underwent a continuous piecewise Y-axis proportional compression:

Wheelbase Reduction:

Stock Progen PR4: 2.93 m (2,931 mm / 115.4 in)
Formula Dee & Super Dee: 2.70 m (2,695 mm / 106.1 in)

Both front and rear axles were pulled inward by 236 mm (9.3 inches) to deliver razor-sharp turn-in and agile low-speed rotation.
Overall Vehicle Length:

Progen PR4: ~4.65 m (dominated by massive multi-tier front wings, complex floor bargeboards, and high rear wing).
Formula Dee: ~3.95 m (stripped down to a tapered vintage cigar nose and a tucked rear upswept stinger exhaust — nearly 700 mm / 28 inches shorter than the PR4!).
Super Dee: Features compact, period-correct high-downforce front and rear wings scaled specifically to complement the shortened 2.70 m wheelbase.

Cockpit Ergonomics:
The driver seating envelope and footwell were kept 100% uncompressed, ensuring the driver ped sits comfortably with natural hands-on-wheel IK alignment and zero steering column clipping.

Vapid Formula Dee (formuladee)
Homage to Formula Vee
The purest form of open-wheel grassroots motorsport. Built around an ultra-lightweight 475 kg tubular spaceframe and a classic cigar-tube body, the Formula Dee features a wingless aerodynamic profile, exposed front beam and rear swing-axle suspension, custom-fabricated aluminum 4-cylinder intake runners, and the roaring Gauntlet Hellfire engine audio. With high-consequence open-wheel fragility physics, every wheel-to-wheel contact demands respect.
Vapid Super Dee (superdee)

Homage to Formula Super Vee

The natural evolution: higher speed, bigger aero, and uncompromising grip. The Super Dee introduces compact front and rear downforce wings, wider racing slicks, and a high-revving naturally aspirated engine (Omnis audio hash). Glued to the apex, it bridges the gap between classic formula cars and modern ground-effect racers.

Known Bugs / Limitations
Due to the accurate open-wheel suspension geometry and high-fragility physics, severe curb impacts or high-speed wall collisions will realistically deform the front axle and suspension arms. (Drive clean!)

Installation Instructions

Single Player (Add-On / OpenIV):

Open OpenIV and turn on “Edit Mode”.Navigate to:
mods/update/x64/dlcpacks/Copy both the “formuladee” and “superdee” folders from the “Singleplayer/dlcpacks/” directory into “dlcpacks/”.Navigate to:
mods/update/update.rpf/common/data/Right-click “dlclist.xml” and select “Edit”.Scroll down to the bottom and add the following lines just above </paths>:
<Item>dlcpacks:/formuladee/</Item>
<Item>dlcpacks:/superdee/</Item>Click Save.In-game, spawn either car using any trainer (Menyoo, Simple Trainer, etc.) with spawn name formuladee or superdee.

FiveM Installation:

Extract the “formuladee” and “superdee” folders from the “FiveM/” directory into your server’s “resources” directory.
Open your server.cfg and add:
ensure formuladee
ensure superdee
Restart your server or type “refresh” and “ensure formuladee”, “ensure superdee” in the server console.
