The PKM is a general-purpose machine gun developed in the Soviet Union by Mikhail Kalashnikov in the 1960s. It is a modernized version of the earlier PK (Pulemyot Kalashnikova) and is chambered in 7.62×54mmR. The PKM is gas-operated, belt-fed, and air-cooled, designed for sustained fire support in both infantry and mounted roles. Known for its reliability, simplicity, and durability, it remains in widespread use around the world, serving in numerous military forces for over five decades.

Please Note:
The sights are slightly misaligned, and there’s minor clipping, but there’s only one major issue. Rockstar decided to put the bolt carrier on the left side of the gun when it’s supposed to be on the right side, so the animation is kind of janky. Oh, also, the dust cover isn’t animated when firing. Not much I can do about that one.

Installation:

Just extract the archive and place the files in

mods/update/x64/dlcpacks/patchday8ng/dlc.rpf/x64/models/cdimages/weapons.rpf

How To Fix Texture Loss:

If you are experiencing any texture loss, make a copy of the low texture and rename it to +hi. The low textures should be 1024×1024 or 1024×512. Anything lower does not matter. If the textures aren’t, you need to downscale them to that resolution. If you are still experiencing issues, try changing the pixel format to DXT5 or DXT1.
