⚙️ Tracer Tool

Customize Your Tracers With Full Control Over:

🔹 Colour – yellow, blue, red or white
🔹 Emissive / brightness
🔹 Size and speed
🔹 Size and speed variation between shots
🔹 Smoke trail on/off
🔹 FiveM .rpf generation

The tool is completely free and also lets you create your own custom tracer setup without manually editing game files.

📥 Installation

Extract the whole archive first, then run TracerTool.exe.
Do not run it from inside the .zip – the Assets folder gets left behind and the build buttons will not work.

Singleplayer
🔹 Open Tracer Tool and click BUILD FOR SINGLEPLAYER
🔹 Save the .oiv file, then double-click it and let OpenIV Package Installer do the rest

FiveM
🔹 Open Tracer Tool and click BUILD FOR FIVEM
🔹 Save the .rpf file, then drop it into your FiveM “mods” folder

A build takes about half a minute.

🗑️ Uninstall

Singleplayer
🔹 In OpenIV, open update/update.rpf/x64/patch/data/effects/
🔹 Delete ptfx.rpf, ptfx_hi.rpf and ptfx_lo.rpf

FiveM
🔹 Delete the .rpf from your “mods” folder

Note: those three files are shared between mods. Deleting them also removes any other effects mod that had written to them.
