Description

The Volkssturmgewehr VG 1-5 (also known as the Gustloff Volkssturmgewehr) was a late-World War II German semi-automatic rifle developed by Gustloff-Werke in late 1944. Designed for the Volkssturm (Germany’s emergency national militia), it was built specifically for cheap, mass production using stamped steel parts and minimal machining.
