Download Cars 1: Radiator Springs HD Reworked Add-on Map Legacy/enhanced GTA 5 Mod

Radiator Springs, Ornament Valley, Tailfin Pass and the Piston Cup Speedway from Cars (2006), reworked as an add-on map connected to Paleto Bay by a highway.

Available for GTA V Enhanced and GTA V Legacy.

Both game versions require their own compatible mod files. Make sure to download and install the correct version for your game.

INSTALLATION

The following installation instructions describe the Enhanced version. For GTA V Legacy, use the corresponding Legacy package and its installation instructions.

Back up your mods folder.Copy the contents of “1 – Main Files” into your GTA V Enhanced folder.In OpenIV (Edit mode), open mods/update/update.rpf/common/data/dlclist.xml and add a new Item entry with the value dlcpacks:/carsworld/ before the closing Paths tag.Start the game.

OPTIONAL FILES

Teleport Menu

Requires ScriptHookVDotNet 3

Copy the scripts folder into your GTA V folder.F11 = Open or close menuUp/Down = NavigateEnter = SelectBackspace = BackIncludes all map locations.Save, rename and delete your own teleport points in game.

Map and Minimap

Shows the Cars world on the pause map and radar.

Installation using OpenIV (Enhanced):

Enable Edit mode in OpenIV.Open mods/update/update.rpfCopy minimap.ymt into x64/data/tune/Copy all 40 .ytd files into the scaleform generic archive located in x64/data/cdimages/

The archive filename contains an underscore between scaleform and generic.rpf.

IMPORTANT

Back up update.rpf before installing.This replaces the game’s original minimap.ymt.May conflict with other map mods that modify the minimap.Only use files designed for your specific GTA V version.

HOW TO USE AND LOCATION

The highway starts in Paleto Bay (north of Los Santos) and leads north-west over the sea to the Cars world.

Fastest way to reach the map:

Use the included Teleport Menu by pressing F11.

KNOWN BUGS

No GPS routes on the custom map.No AI traffic or pedestrians (no path nodes or navmesh).Pause map cannot be scrolled all the way to the custom map area due to game limitations.Radar displays the custom map as an image only (no vector roads).Vehicles may freeze or become impossible to steer without the corresponding NoBoundaryLimits version.Loading the map area for the first time may take a few seconds due to large textures.

UNINSTALL

Delete the folder mods/update/x64/dlcpacks/carsworldOpen mods/update/update.rpf/common/data/dlclist.xml and remove the Item entry containing dlcpacks:/carsworld/If you installed Map and Minimap, restore your backup of mods/update/update.rpfIf you installed the Teleport Menu, delete TeleportMenu.cs and the TeleportMenu locations text file from the scripts folder.

The locations filename contains an underscore between TeleportMenu and Locations.txt.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION

This map is available in separate versions for GTA V Enhanced and GTA V Legacy.

GTA V Enhanced and GTA V Legacy files are not interchangeable.
