Re‑organized in 1993 from the RTD Police Department under Southern San Andreas Rapid Transit District (SSARTD, real‑world counterpart: SCRTD‑Southern California Rapid Transit District). The letters LST on its shoulder patch stood for LS TRANSPORTATION. The agency was responsible for transit security across Los Santos (Los Angeles) bus and rail systems. This independent police agency was disbanded in 1997. Its transit‑related law‑enforcement duties were transferred under service contracts to LSPD and LSSD (LAPD and LASD). The agency’s shoulder patch was officially decommissioned.
