This mod automatically forces your character into a ragdoll state whenever their health falls below the configured threshold.

By default, the threshold is set to 5 HP (RagdollHealth = 105). Your character will remain ragdolled until their health regenerates above the configured value or until they die.

This creates a more immersive and realistic experience by preventing the player from instantly recovering after surviving severe injuries, such as high-speed vehicle crashes, heavy gunfire, or falls from great heights.

Configuration

You can customize the ragdoll health threshold in CriticalInjury.ini.

Default:
RagdollHealth = 105

GTA V internally stores player health starting at 100. Because of this, the configured value must be 100 plus the amount of health you want before the ragdoll effect is triggered.

Examples:

• Ragdoll below 10 HP

RagdollHealth = 110

• Ragdoll below 15 HP

RagdollHealth = 115

• Ragdoll below 25 HP

RagdollHealth = 125

Compatibility

• Fully tested on GTA V Enhanced and confirmed to work correctly.
• Supports both Legacy and Enhanced versions. Legacy support has not been tested yet.
• Compatible with most Euphoria mods. In rare cases, minor visual glitches may occur depending on the Euphoria mod being used, but gameplay compatibility is not affected.

Installation

1. Copy CriticalInjury.dll and CriticalInjury.ini into your scripts folder.

2. If the scripts folder does not exist, create a new folder named “scripts” inside your GTA V installation directory.

3. Launch the game.
