Description

This mod completely disables the standard helmet system in GTA 5, which automatically puts on a helmet when getting on a motorcycle. Instead, the player gets full manual control via a hotkey (default H), with realistic animations for putting on and taking off the helmet.

Version 1.0 Features:

Disables automatic helmet donning;
Realistic animations;
Works both on and off the bike;
Compatible with storyline and Freemode characters (male and female models).

Version 1.1
You can change the key used to equip/unequip the helmet in the HelmetControl.ini file. The default key is H.

You cannot equip or unequip the helmet while inside any moving vehicle. The animation is only possible when the vehicle is stationary.
The script loads default helmet settings (Helmet_1 option) for each character directly from the HelmetControl.ini file. You can easily set your own default helmet by editing the DrawableId and TextureId for Helmet_1 in the appropriate section. In this version, the script ONLY uses Helmet_1 as the default helmet.

Controls:
Key H — put on/remove helmet.

Requirements:

ScriptHookV;
ScriptHookVDotNet.

Installation:
Extract the contents of the archive to the scripts folder in the root directory of GTA 5;
Start the game — the mod will be activated automatically.
