A Few Words From the Developer

I’m very happy to bring VehFuncsV back to GTA V after three years.

Since VehFuncsV was never open-source, all code in this project has been written by me, with assistance from OpenAI’s ChatGPT 5.6sol. This is almost a complete rebuild from scratch—none of the original VehFuncsV was decompiled or reverse-engineered.

Because it was rebuilt from the ground up, SukiVFV may not fully support every old VehFuncsV configuration file. However, based on my testing, most older VehFuncsV .ini files should work after updating the keybind setting, customkey. I didn’t like VehFuncsV’s reversed key-input logic, so I changed it in SukiVFV.

From planning through development, no vehicle creators were willing to submit vehicles for testing. As a result, I cannot guarantee that all original VehFuncsV features will work correctly with every vehicle.

If you encounter a ScriptHookV error while testing your vehicle, it may mean that a feature is not supported yet. You can contact me and submit your vehicle’s dlc.rpf file along with its .ini configuration file. I will test it repeatedly to identify the vehicle’s bone nodes and the required offset values.

Please remember that this script is now called SukiVFV. When releasing vehicles that use its features, you may add [SukiVFV] to the release post or description.

🔥 Supports hot reloading: after editing a configuration file, simply switch focus back to the game to apply the changes immediately

🔧 Supports almost all legacy VehFuncsV configurations; only the keybind settings need to be changed

Controlled by RestoreOnVehicleExit, allowing animation states to either remain as they are or reset when exiting the vehicle
