The M60E6 is a modernized version of the iconic M60 general-purpose machine gun, designed to deliver reliable firepower with reduced weight and improved ergonomics. Chambered in 7.62×51mm NATO, it features a lighter barrel, a redesigned feed cover with integrated Picatinny rails, and a more durable operating system. Compared to earlier models, the M60E6 is easier to handle, quicker to reload, and better suited for mounting optics and accessories. Rugged yet versatile, it combines the battle-proven heritage of the original M60 with updates tailored for today’s infantry and special operations forces.

Please Note:
The only bugs are the reload animation. It’s a bit buggy and the bullets clip through the mag but it’s not really noticable during normal gameplay.

Installation:
Just extract the archive and place the files in
mods/update/x64/dlcpacks/patchday8ng/dlc.rpf/x64/models/cdimages/weapons.rpf

How To Fix Texture Loss:
If you are experiencing any texture loss, make a copy of the low texture and rename it to +hi. The low textures should be 1024×1024 or 1024×512. Anything lower does not matter. If the textures aren’t, you need to downscale them to that resolution. If you are still experiencing issues, try changing the pixel format to DXT5 or DXT1.
