New Year’s Fluffy Cheongsam

The cheongsam (also found spelled “cheongsam” or “cheongsam”) is a Chinese women’s dress that was invented in 1920s Shanghai.

The cheongsam originally came into fashion among high society women. The dress is tight-fitting and often fits snugly.

The cheongsam covers the chest all the way down to the throat. In Singapore and Hong Kong, Chinese women wear it as casual wear.

Modern Asian designers often use the cheongsam as inspiration for their collections.
