This mod replaces the two cribs from the base game, Rock-A-Bye Bassinet and WickedWork Bassinet, with an invisible crib. These two cribs are important because the game will automatically choose one of them when your non-occult sim gives birth and you haven’t set up a crib yet. This means your sim’s baby will be assigned to one of them. This will not affect the cribs from the DLC in any way, so you can still use them as you wish with this mod. You can now freely place newborns. The mod works perfectly with cribs and newborn looks from CC—even with multiple babies (as you can see in the picture above) ♥

❀ How to Use This Mod:

1. Before birth: Place the desired CC crib in your character’s house (or don’t place the CC crib at all if you want the baby to float).
2. Before birth: Place either the invisible Rock-A-Bye cradle or the WickedWork cradle over the already installed CC crib (optional). You can choose which one you want for your baby; it doesn’t matter.
3. After birth: Your character’s newborn will automatically be assigned to an invisible crib—whether you have placed it over a CC crib or not. You can now freely move the baby around and place a new crib under it at any time.

After birth, your character will automatically be assigned to the invisible crib.
❀ Troubleshooting:
If your sim is stuck in labor and you haven’t yet installed one of the two baby cribs from the base game mentioned above, simply place one of them (or the crib from the DLC if you want) and labor will start automatically. Repeat for each of several babies.
