Description
Crash Survival Rating Pro brings realistic collision biomechanics to BeamNG.drive! Using current NATO and NHTSA research standards, this mod calculates the probability of survival in real time based on the overloads you experience.
What Makes It Special? Scientific Precision!
- Based on NATO RTO-EN-HFM-113 and NHTSA FMVSS 208 crash test standards – Directional injury modeling (side impacts are MUCH more dangerous than frontal impacts!)
- Longβterm overload exposure using the Wayne tolerance curve
- Real biomechanical thresholds based on human anatomy
Comprehensive monitoring
3-axis overload tracking: transverse, longitudinal and vertical forces are analyzed independently
6 injury levels: Safe β Minor β Medium β Severe β Critical β Fatal
Collision counter: automatically detects individual collisions
Peak overload data: Keep track of the maximum overloads you have experienced
Duration tracking: prolonged high overloads are more dangerous
Aesthetics Of Vault-Tec:
Retro Pip-Boy interface with authentic CRT Raster string Effects
An animated figure of a Wolf boy, changing color depending on the severity of the injury
Phosphor-green glow with a classic post-apocalyptic hue
Flashing warnings for critical/fatal injuries
How It Works:
The mod reads acceleration data directly from the BeamNG physics engine and converts it into overloads. He then applies real biomechanical models to assess the likelihood of injury.:
Examples Of Threshold Values:
Frontal impact with 45G overload: Serious chest injury is likely, but it is possible to survive with the help of restraints
Vertical impact with 40G overload: Catastrophic compression of the spine
Multiple impacts add up β each collision adds to the previous damage. Long-term high overloads (more than 1 second) have a stronger effect than short-term ones.
Overview of functions
β Real-time survival probability (0-100%)
β 3-axis overload display in real time
β Automatic detection and counting of impacts
Vehicle telemetry (speed, engine RPM, transmission, fuel, throttle, brake, temperature)
β Peak overload tracking on all axes
β Monitoring the duration of prolonged overloads
, Writing data to the console for detailed collision analysis
β Light weight and high performance
Educational Value:
Have you ever wondered why racing cars need side impact protection? Or why Formula 1 racers can survive head-on collisions with over 50G overload, but side-on collisions with 25G overload are extremely dangerous?
This mod demonstrates the real biomechanics of collisions.:
Lateral overload: ~12G (safe limit for human)
Longitudinal overload: ~25G (safe limit for modern restraints)
Vertical overload: ~15G (safe limit for the spine)
It’s a fun way to learn about collision safety while enjoying the incredible physics of BeamNG!
