The mod strengthens and prolongs the effects associated with cheating. It overhauls the emotion and state system, making characters’ reactions more pronounced and longer lasting.

And it makes it easier for characters to react to the effects of cheating.

After installation, Sims receive stronger effects that vary in type and intensity. Among them:

intense anger (“offended partner”)

tension due to the offense of cheating
bitterness and emotional heaviness

These effects are not only stronger, but they last longer than in the standard game. Because of this, cheating stops being a fleeting event and starts to have a real impact on the characters’ relationships and behavior.

Each state differs in strength and duration. There are more acute reactions first, followed by calmer but still noticeable effects. This creates a sense of gradually experiencing the situation, rather than an instantaneous “dumping” of emotion.
