Start the traffic, pull up next to any car, honk four times, and the race begins!
By default, AI cars accelerate to ~60 mph (and race for 10 seconds), then stop and return to the speed limit. You can change this in the app (street racing settings) in the HUD to adjust the AI’s target speed, race duration, and more!
If you want a race that lasts a long time and has no speed limit, simply set an incredibly high speed at which the race ends (for example, 500 miles per hour), and set the street race duration to 1,000 seconds or any other desired duration.

In Version 1.2:
The timer now displays the correct time, and I’ve finally found a solution that allows the AI to truly squeeze the most out of the car. In a car that accelerates from 0 to 100 miles per hour in 5.1–5.2 seconds, the AI now posts a time of 5.1–5.2 instead of 5.5–5.7. I apologize to everyone who found this annoying—and, to be honest, it really annoyed me too, both in the game and while fixing it.
