Description

RageOpenV is an open-source alternative to OpenIV.asi and OpenRPF.asi.

It works on both GTA V Legacy and GTA V Enhanced, while also improving performance thanks to cached RPF path lookups.

Mods can be installed normally through a mods folder, just like with OpenIV.asi and OpenRPF.asi.

So simply replace OpenIV.asi or OpenRPF.asi with RageOpenV.asi and leave your mods folder as-is.

An alternative approach to adding mods might be added in future releases, which decreases the size of the mods folder.

Installation
Place RageOpenV.asi inside your game’s main directory, where GTA5.exe or GTA5_Enhanced.exe is located.
For GTA V Legacy, use the ASI loader included with ScriptHookV (dinput8.dll), or download dinput8.dll from:

For GTA V Enhanced, use the ASI loader included with ScriptHookV (xinput1_4.dll), or download xinput1_4.dll from:

Recommended: Install Packfilelimitadjuster Enhanced and Heapadjuster Enhanced. They work for both GTA5 Legacy and Enhanced.

Additional Logging

If you are a developer or want more detailed information while the game is loading RPF files, use the version inside the RageOpenV_MoreLogs folder.

After launching the game once with RageOpenV loaded, a RageOpenV.ini file will be generated.

Set all values inside the configuration file to true to enable detailed logging.

Please note that this version is more taxing on performance due to the constant writing to the log file.
